Marche

Getting married in the Marche is to choose a region in which a the nature is enriched by towns, villages, palaces and religious buildings full of architectural and artistic qualities of great importance.
One of the most distinctive features of the Marches is the coastline that stretches for 180 km far from Gabicce promontory to the the mouth of Tronto.
The  Marche coastline, consisting in beautiful pebble beaches of rock and sand, meets all the needs of the visitors to our land and thus confirms an ancient tradition of hospitality demonstrated by the presence of the Ancona historic seaport and from 9 marinas.
The famous seaside resorts of Gabicce Mare, Fano, Pesaro characterized by wide sandy beaches offer a quiet life even to small and inexperienced swimmers. Continuing from Ancona, a stop in Senigallia , the ancient capital of  Galli Senoni, now famous throughout Europe for its "velvet beach" . From here begins the most unusual of the Adriatic coast Marches "the Riviera del Conero", bays full of white sometimes reachable only by boat or cut paths through the greenery of the Mediterranean.

The park of the Conero: a treasure chest of natural beauty that extends for more than 5,000 hectares, offers treasures of great charm and numerous art testimonials: the Bay of Portonovo with the Napoleonic Fortino, the Tower of Guard, the church of S. Maria, the beaches of St. Michele, of the Two Sisters and evocative views.

This region is also rich of beautiful towns: Pesaro, Urbino, Ancona, that offers spectacular masterpieces. If Florence has been the capital of Renaissance, Urbino has been its ideal town; between the Foglia and Metauro rivers, has kept for centuries its urban architecture. the Renaissance structure attracts the visitor. Very important is the Ducal Palace that represents the physical features of the Renaissance no longer linked to defence purposes but to openmindedness. The building structure is harmonious, a work of the architect Luciano Laurana. Today the Palace is the official Marche Gallery which contains important works of remarkable artists: from Raffaello to Piero Della Francesca and Paolo Uccello.

Inside the region they are Frasassi caves, a real masterpiece of nature, a fairy tale interwoven in the belly of the earth, through centuries and centuries of ceaseless work of the water, that, thanks to the shape and characteristics of the Sentino river, have dug and formed the internal karst mountain.

The fortune of a land with a mild climate, lying between the hills and the sea, is also appreciated in its products: from rock fish to blue fish, from organic crops to the unique world-famous production of our cereals, cheeses and preserved meats.
Tasty natural products which do not require complicated preparation in order to be appreciated. But in this land, as well as the pleisure of rediscovering traditional dishes with authentic flavours, you can also satisfy your curiosity to try surprising new combinations, proposed by young chefs who want to be innovative in the kitchen without forgetting their origins. Brodetto is one of the many recipes for fish soup in the Marches. In Ancona it is still prepared just as it was years ago, with as many as thirteen different types of fish, all caught in the Adriatic.
