We originally planned to get married aboard a cruise ship midway through a Mediterranean cruise whilst docked in Pisa. Three weeks prior to sailing, we were devastated to find out that we were unable to have the planned wedding. We desperately sought a wedding planner in Italy who could arrange a wedding for our 100 guests in this short time.

Our priority was to find someone we could trust as we had been let down so suddenly and had such a short time to organise the whole wedding. We found Varese Wedding over the Internet and they soon established themselves head and shoulders above the other companies due to their quick reply, great selection of options and obvious professionalism. 

There were continuous emails and conversations over those few weeks and Neil and I constantly felt that our wedding was top priority and that their standards remained high despite our demands, last minute changes and extremely tight timescale.

One particular night I was talking with Laura for at least two hours, it was about 9pm when she told me it was actually her birthday and her husband had been patiently waiting to take her out to celebrate...I think this is a great example of her dedication in ensuring that our wedding day would be so special.

It is rare today to find a Company who goes over and beyond what is required. The day was organised to perfection and all our guests were blown away with what Varese Wedding had created for us. As it was so last minute, Neil and I had not seen anything first hand and everything from the location to the photographer was beyond our expectations. 

The support and service that Varese Wedding offers from the first point of contact to the moment our last guest had left was exclusive wedding planning at its best!

May Neil and I take this opportunity to thank Laura and her team for giving us memories to treasure for all our lives...Our special day was breathtaking and all with thanks to you!

We got engaged on Lake Como, Italy in the Summer of 2007 and thought that it would be magical to bring over close family and friends to get married the following year. At the end of 2007, we contacted various companies in Italy to see whether we could organise the service and reception though them. As we knew exactly where we wanted to get married (Bellagio) and had a clear idea of what sort of reception we wanted (set menu and a private area for us), we found that most companies were not very flexible. There seemed to be a set package on offer i.e. we had to book everything through them (accommodation, flights etc) and this was also very expensive. Then we found our saviour, Laura.

She was able to offer lots of suggestions, ideas and options. She worked completely around us and accommodated our every whim. I have to say that I (Jo) have been very particular about everything and I'm sure have driven Laura around the bend with all of my questions but it was all worth it. The day was spectacular! It exceeded our wildest dreams and more. Everyone had a great time and as you can see from the pictures, the views and weather were both amazing. We would highly recommend getting married in Italy. The restaurant made us feel really welcome, catering to every need and even made us a wedding cake (not requested). The service was very personal and the registrar was very friendly.

None of this would have been possible without Laura and for her continued help and advice, we are very grateful.

We had been told how beautiful the Lakes where for a wedding so we choose Varese Wedding  as our wedding planner because it appeared to be the most professional. They were also very quick to respond to our emails.                   Laura arranged a great wedding for us in such a short time.  We decided in February that we would like to get married it Italy this May.  Laura arranged everything from the ceremony in the castle, photographers, champagne reception by a water fall on the lake and a beautiful reception at a restaurant in the mountains overlooking Lake Garda this was a spectacular restaurant and we would highly recommend it for any special occasion.
